Who we are
Sporting Escapes Group is the parent company behind a portfolio of specialist sports travel brands — Golf Holiday Breaks, Football Getaways, Padel Road Trip and F1 Mirador.Cherished Group Limited (company number 14318085, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.
What we collect
When you enquire or partner with us, we typically collect:
- Your name, email address and (optionally) phone number.
- Company name, role and website if you submit a partnership enquiry.
- The details of your enquiry — group size, sport, dates, destinations, budget range.
- Technical information including IP address, browser type and pages visited, captured by our hosting platform and any analytics scripts described in our Cookie Notice.
- Marketing-source information (UTM parameters) so we know which campaign or partner referred you.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and connect you with the right specialist brand in the group. Legal basis: consent (you tick the privacy box when you submit) and our legitimate interest in following up on an enquiry you initiated.
- To send you marketing about relevant sports travel brands, trips and partner programmes — only where you've ticked the marketing opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- To improve our websites and service — analysing aggregate visitor behaviour, the routes most people take through the site, and which content is useful.
- To meet our legal obligations — for example, retaining booking records where a trip is booked under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with people who genuinely need it to deliver the service you've asked for:
- The specialist brand in the group that handles your enquiry (e.g. Golf Holiday Breaks).
- Suppliers and operators we book your trip with — accommodation providers, ground handlers, transport operators — and only the details they need to fulfil the booking.
- InteleTravel UK, our host travel-agent network (ABTA member P7384), where the booking is arranged under their agency.
- Our IT and infrastructure providers — including our website and CRM platform — under written contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to do so.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from the last contact. Booking records are kept for the period required by tax and travel-industry regulations (typically six years). Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict our use of your personal information, and to object to direct marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sportingescapesgroup.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
